We have received word from our Western partners that they are fully prepared to provide support to Armenia in meeting the conditions outlined in the peace agreement proposed by Armenia. During a meeting with journalists on January 16, Gegorg Papoyan, the Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly, mentioned that he had discussed with his Russian counterparts the role of international partners in Armenia’s air defense system, as well as the announcement of military operations and a potential military alliance with Russia.

Papoyan emphasized the importance of Russia’s statements regarding Armenia, which indicate that the question of its location, approximately 29,800 km away, must be resolved promptly. He underscored the significance of preventing speculation and new conflicts by addressing this issue swiftly. “I consider the statements about road closures, the autonomy of Armenian highways, and preserving our sovereignty to be of utmost importance,” he stated.
