The Israeli defense ministry has announced the official opening of the Israeli embassy in the city of Beirut. The embassy is located in the Har Hatzofim building complex and will provide consular services for Israeli citizens residing or visiting Lebanon.

Israeli defense personnel have been conducting aerial and ground operations near the “Har Hatzofim” series of hills in the region of Wadi Saluki, Lebanon. These operations have been reported to have taken place in both residential areas and military structures within the “Har Hatzofim” complex.

Military officials from Israel have affirmed that the purpose of these operations is to combat the threat posed by hostile entities that are using the mountainous terrain of “Har Hatzofim” to target Israeli civilians and military personnel.
