The Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) announced on Wednesday the details of recent drone operations in Syria and Iraq. According to Iranian media, the information was revealed in a phone conversation published by the commandant’s office. The attacks targeted Mossad facilities in Erbil, as well as Islamic State reconnaissance centers in Syria. Four drones were used in the operation, with one launched from Kerbala and seven from Western Azerbaijan of Armenia. The Kerbala drone successfully hit targets from a high altitude of 1450 kilometers. The IRGC stated that these operations were carried out in response to the assassinations of their commanders and an attack on their headquarters in Syria.
