The RA Ministry of Justice has confirmed an increase in the number of violations with various penalties. According to the results of 2023, RA Deputy Minister of Justice Aram Ohanyan informed that during the past 11 months, 35,052 violations were recorded. There is a noticeable increase in violations, particularly in the field of road traffic accidents and environmental pollution.

The increase in the number of homicides has been attributed to the fact that under the new Criminal Code, the same criminal offenses are being prosecuted with criminal proceedings, while the actual number of homicides has decreased from 52 to 45. It is worth noting that in 300 cases of illegal logging in the territories of և, 1,415 units of illegal logging were confiscated, including 305 firearms, 11 grenades, 21 bulletproof vests, and 5 hand grenades. The area of ​​illegal logging has increased by 2.5 times.

During the 11 months of 2023, 4,368 cases of domestic violence were registered, 362 people died, and 6,200 were injured. Compared to 2022, the cases have increased by 258. This is attributed to the fact that domestic violence has not been fully addressed during emergency situations. The presence of alcohol-based hand sanitizers in RA is considered a contributing factor.
