“Varied Weather Forecast for the Republic: Rain, Sleet, and Rising Temperatures in the Next Few Days”

In the territory of the Republic, rain and sleet are expected in separate regions on the evening of January 14. However, from January 15-19, no precipitation is expected. The wind speed will be 2-5 m/s from the northwest, with the possibility of gusts of 15-18 m/s in certain areas on January 16-17. It is worth noting that the temperature will increase on January 15. In Yerevan, the temperature on January 16-17 will be 6-10 degrees Celsius higher, while in Lori, Tavush, and Syunik, it will be even warmer at 12-16 degrees Celsius. These weather updates are according to the “Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center” in Yerevan, as reported by NEWS.am.

Moreover, the weather forecast shows that there will be no precipitation from January 15-19, confirming a dry period. In Yerevan, temperatures will vary throughout the night. In the first half of the night, it will range from -4 to -6 degrees Celsius, while in the second half, it will increase to +3 to +5 degrees Celsius. Moving to the regions, Shirak will experience colder temperatures ranging from -13 to -18 degrees Celsius at night, and -1 to -3 degrees Celsius in the evening. Meanwhile, the Kotayk Mountains will have nighttime temperatures of -13 to -16 degrees Celsius, and -1 to -3 degrees Celsius in the evening. The Kotayk Plateau will be slightly milder, with temperatures ranging from -5 to -7 degrees Celsius at night, and +1 to +3 degrees Celsius in the evening.

In other regions, Sevan Lake will have nighttime temperatures of -10 to -15 degrees Celsius, and -2 to -4 degrees Celsius in the evening. Lori will experience temperatures ranging from -10 to -14 degrees Celsius at night, and 0 to 4 degrees Celsius in the evening. Tavush, on the other hand, will have nighttime temperatures of -4 to -8 degrees Celsius, and +3 to +6 degrees Celsius in the evening. The Aragatsotn Mountains will have colder temperatures of -14 to -18 degrees Celsius at night, and -1 to -4 degrees Celsius in the evening. Meanwhile, the Aragatsotn Plateau will be slightly milder, ranging from -5 to -9 degrees Celsius at night, and 0 to +4 degrees Celsius in the evening.

As we move further, Armavir will experience nighttime temperatures of -3 to -6 degrees Celsius, and +5 to +7 degrees Celsius in the evening. Ararat will have colder temperatures, ranging from -5 to -9 degrees Celsius at night, and +5 to +7 degrees Celsius in the evening. Moving towards the Vayots Dzor region, the mountains will have temperatures ranging from -10 to -15 degrees Celsius at night, and -2 to -4 degrees Celsius in the evening. The Vayots Dzor Plateau will be slightly milder with temperatures of -3 to -6 degrees Celsius at night, and +4 to +6 degrees Celsius in the evening. Furthermore, the Syunik Highlands will have nighttime temperatures of -6 to -10 degrees Celsius, and +4 to +7 degrees Celsius in the evening. Lastly, the Syunik Plateau will have colder temperatures ranging from -12 to -16 degrees Celsius at night, and -2 to +6 degrees Celsius in the evening.
