Iran’s Minister of Defense, Brigadier General Kioumars Heidari, recently announced that the country will be adding new offensive drone systems and advanced anti-aircraft missiles to its military arsenal. In an interview with IRNA, Heidari clarified that this move is not meant as a threat to other nations but rather as a way to strengthen Iran’s defensive capabilities, military deterrence, and national security.

Heidari went on to emphasize that the deployment of these new offensive and defensive equipment, including drones and missiles, will primarily be along Iran’s borders. The goal is to ensure national security and enhance military preparedness. This strategic decision aims to protect Iranian borders and deter any potential aggression.

Furthermore, Heidari revealed that Iran’s Aerospace Force Headquarters has already upgraded two types of drones. He anticipates that these upgraded drones will be showcased in the near future, demonstrating Iran’s technological advancements in the field of aerospace defense.
