“Gostroyanadzor Denies Operating Permission for Wildberries Warehouse After Massive Fire: Latest Updates”

Gostroyanadzor, the State Inspectorate for Construction, has denied permission for the online retail warehouse of Wildberries at Shosse 153 in Moscow to operate following a recent large-scale fire, as reported by Fontanka. The spokesperson for Gostroyanadzor stated that while the construction of the 105,800 square meter warehouse had been granted permission by the state body in charge of construction supervision in St. Petersburg and all necessary preliminary documents were provided, no request for permission to carry out commercial activities had been made to Gostroyanadzor.

The fire started at approximately 9:30 local time and was classified as a level five fire, the highest level. It is still ongoing, though it has been localized according to the latest updates. In response, 1200 employees were evacuated from the premises.
