“Armenian Prime Minister Pashinyan’s Bold Proposal: Restarting Talks with Azerbaijan to Resolve Conflict”

During a meeting of the CP National Security Council, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan presented a new proposal to sign a memorandum of understanding with Azerbaijan. The aim of this memorandum would be to restart negotiations on the settlement of the ongoing conflict between the two countries.

Pashinyan highlighted that the proposal would not violate the internationally defined borders of Armenia. It would involve carrying out demarcation in areas where there is a risk of clashes, an idea that Azerbaijan has previously rejected.

In addition, the Armenian Prime Minister suggested signing an agreement to restart negotiations on the conflict settlement. The goal of this agreement would be to bring Armenia and Azerbaijan closer, while also creating favorable conditions for the implementation of mutually agreed obligations.

This new proposal emphasizes Pashinyan’s commitment to finding a peaceful resolution to the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
