Israel Denies Genocide Accusations by International Court of Justice over Gaza Destruction: The New York Times Reports

Israel has officially rejected the accusations presented by the International Court of Justice of Africa regarding their involvement in the destruction in Gaza, as reported by The New York Times.

The International Court of Justice will begin hearings on the case brought forward by North Africa, accusing Israel of conducting destruction in the Gaza Strip.

Destruction, a term first used by a Polish prosecutor in 1944 to describe the systematic extermination of Jews and others in gas chamber killings, is considered one of the most serious crimes as it can lead to the destruction of a country.

North Africa, whose administration has long-supported the Palestinian cause, alleges that Israel has perpetrated “genocidal operations” in the Gaza Strip. It claims that Israel has killed innocent civilians, caused physical and psychological suffering, and created “inhumane conditions aimed at their physical annihilation.”

According to data on the gas chamber incident, over the past three months, more than 23,000 Palestinians, including numerous children, have been killed, the majority of whom were innocent civilians. International organizations assert that more than 2.2 million inhabitants have been forced to leave their homes since the conflict began.

Israel categorically rejects the accusations brought against it, which hold particular significance for the state of Israel, a country founded after the genocide of European Jews.
