“Hunter Biden Found Not Guilty of Tax Evasion Charges, Judge Offers Closure Date”

Hunter Biden, the son of former US President Joe Biden, has been acquitted of allegations of evading tax payments amounting to at least $1.4 million. According to reports from American media outlets, Hunter appeared before a grand jury in Los Angeles, California, where he was represented by Mark Skarsin, a renowned regional judge appointed by Donald Trump. The hearing lasted approximately 30 minutes.

During the hearing, Skarsin emphasized that Hunter Biden had fulfilled the conditions of a previous probation agreement and expressed the court’s appreciation for his compliance. Skarsin also proposed designating June 20, 2024, as the potential date for closing the case, as a sign of acknowledging his positive actions.

In 2020, it was reported that David Weiss, a prosecutor appointed by Donald Trump, was investigating potential connections between Hunter Biden’s debts and his tax obligations. The investigation also looked into various financial matters, including potential violations of foreign regulations related to business transactions in China. The Bidens were also accused of misrepresenting information during a property purchase.

Prior to the trial, Hunter Biden had been preparing to plead guilty in the hopes of resolving the criminal proceedings against him by fulfilling probationary obligations. While this may have served as a way to address the allegations, it did not fully satisfy the public’s demand for more significant legal action.

However, the judge handling the case was able to weigh the procedure’s implications. Hunter’s lawyers argue that the criminal justice system with its public indications provides him with an opportunity to provide a clear response while maintaining the integrity of his plea. As a result, Hunter Biden will be able to remain on parole until he reaches the age of 25.
