“Hovik Aghazaryan implicated in shocking extortion scandal; Audio evidence emerges in high-profile case reported by ‘Hraparak’ newspaper”

The newspaper ‘Hraparak’ has reported that Hovik Aghazaryan is now involved in a criminal case of extortion. According to the report, on December 25, Aghazaryan called Arman Smbatyan, an employee of PVT, and informed him that Hayk had contacted him. Hayk allegedly revealed that a woman had given Aghazaryan $23,000 in order to obtain a building permit, but Aghazaryan did not help her and did not return the money.

In response, Smbatyan sent an audio message to Aghazaryan, where the woman admitted that she had indeed given money to Aghazaryan. Aghazaryan then proposed a meeting to discuss the issue, warning that he would contact his superiors otherwise.

However, Aghazaryan was later informed that the woman did not want to meet. Despite this, he presented his official documents and reported the incident. Furthermore, Aghazaryan has claimed that his superiors have not taken any action regarding the misconduct of their employee.
