“President Khachaturyan Approves Appointment of Ghazaryan as Ambassador to China, Manasaryan Takes on Additional Roles”

President Vahagn Khachaturyan of the Republic of Armenia has signed a decree today accepting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s offer to appoint former Minister of Economy, Vahe Ghazaryan, as the new Ambassador of Armenia to China. This decision highlights the government’s focus on strengthening diplomatic ties between the two countries.

In another decree, President Khachaturyan has called upon Sergey Manasaryan, the current Ambassador of Armenia to China, to also serve as the Ambassador of Armenia to New Zealand and Mongolia. This strategic move aims to enhance Armenia’s presence and influence in these regions.

Yesterday, Vahe Ghazaryan was relieved of his duties as the Deputy Chief of Staff for Foreign Affairs, a position he has held since September 2021. This change in roles allows Ghazaryan to take on new responsibilities and contribute to the further development of bilateral relations with China.

Sergey Manasaryan, who previously served as the Deputy Minister of Economy of Armenia, was appointed as the Ambassador to China in February 2016. With his experience and expertise, Manasaryan’s tenure as the Ambassador has been marked by notable achievements in promoting economic cooperation and cultural exchanges between Armenia and China.

These recent diplomatic appointments reflect Armenia’s commitment to expanding its international network and fostering mutually beneficial partnerships. The government’s proactive approach in appointing qualified individuals demonstrates its dedication to advancing the country’s foreign policy objectives.

As Armenia further strengthens its global presence, these newly appointed ambassadors will play a crucial role in deepening political, economic, and cultural ties with China, New Zealand, and Mongolia. Their diplomatic efforts are pivotal in advancing Armenia’s interests on the international stage and promoting peace and cooperation among nations.
