On January 9, an accident occurred in the Kotayk region of Armenia. At approximately 09:00, the national emergency management center of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs received a distress call about a car accident on the Yegvard-Achtarak highway. The car was reported to be on fire, as stated by Shamshyan.com.

The incident occurred near Yegvard and involved a 46-year-old man named Gagik H. who was driving an Opel Vectra car.

Fortunately, before the firefighters arrived at the scene, the driver managed to escape from the vehicle as the flames rapidly spread.

Preliminary information indicates that there were no injuries reported as a result of this incident.
