“Major Changes in Nuclear Safety: 22 Recommendations Implemented After Conference with Experts”

In 2023, a five-day conference on nuclear safety took place, where 26 experts presented their reports and findings. The Ministry of Nuclear Energy shared with NEWS.am that, as a result of the discussions, the Minister of Nuclear Energy and other officials implemented 22 recommendations to enhance nuclear safety. Specifically, two experts were given a “noted” status, while three experts received a “strongly noted” status. Additionally, two experts were promoted, and 15 experts were relieved from their duties in the nuclear energy sector.
