Armenian Side’s Response to Azerbaijani Proposals on Peace Agreement: Concerns and Questions Arise

On January 4th, the Armenian side provided a response to the proposals put forth by Azerbaijan regarding the “Agreement on the Stability of Peace.” According to Armen Grigoryan, Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, the co-chairs of the trilateral working group meeting on January 4th will also convene. Speaking in an interview with Public Television, Grigoryan expressed that they are currently reviewing Azerbaijan’s response and remain optimistic about the progress made thus far. However, he highlighted that discrepancies were noted in the text of the Agreement on the Stability of Peace, which were discussed during negotiations involving military experts. He further expressed concerns about the speed at which the agreement could be finalized through negotiations, emphasizing that Armenia’s priority is to ensure security guarantees for the country.
