Famous journalist Alexander Ribin from “Lenta.ru” has been detained in the Rostov region, according to “Rabkor,” a correspondent in the area.

Ribin’s colleague and mother have reported that the journalist was found dead near a maternity hospital on the outskirts of Shakhty city.

The cause of death is currently being confirmed, and investigations into the circumstances of the case are underway.

Ribin, known for his work as a correspondent for “Lenta.ru,” has covered assignments in the Middle East and Africa, along with remarkable travel adventures.
