In 2023, Armenia’s membership in international organizations has successfully passed all elections. Ani Badalyan, the spokesperson of the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs, expressed her gratitude to the countries that supported Armenia’s membership. She also thanked all the partners who worked on the relevant documents. Badalyan announced the list of international organizations where Armenia’s membership has been approved.

The election for the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice for 2024-2026 will take place at the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).

The election for the Commission on Narcotic Drugs for 2024-2027 will also take place at the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).

Furthermore, the election for the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency for 2023-2026 will soon take place.

Additionally, the election for the Committee for Programme and Coordination (CPC) for 2024-2026 will be held.

Last but not least, the election for the UNESCO Committee for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict for 2023-2027 will occur as well.
