“Visa-Free Travel to UAE for Armenian Citizens Starting February 1, 2024”

Starting from February 1, 2024, citizens of Armenia will no longer require a visa to enter, exit or transit through the United Arab Emirates (UAE). This significant development comes as a result of a bilateral agreement between the two nations. Armenian citizens must ensure that their passport remains valid for at least six months from the date of entry into the UAE to benefit from this visa-free policy.

The agreement further stipulates that Armenian citizens will be permitted to stay in the UAE for a maximum period of 90 days within every 180-day cycle. It is important to note that the validity of the passport is indicated on the 2nd (Armenian) and 3rd (English) pages, rather than the 4th page typically used in foreign countries. The latter is no longer applicable or mandatory from January 1, 2024.

This new travel policy marks a significant milestone in Armenian-UAE relations and will undoubtedly facilitate easier and more convenient travel for citizens of both nations.
