“South Korea Urges Russia to Halt Military Operations with North Korea, Violating International Sanctions: Reports”

South Korea has called on Russia to halt its military operations with North Korea, stating that it violates international sanctions. According to reports by the Yonhap news agency, Russia has been supplying ballistic missiles and other military equipment to North Korea, despite the sanctions imposed on the country. The United Nations have intercepted some of these shipments and have declared them as violations of the sanctions. A South Korean spokesperson has urged Russia to immediately cease these activities. During a meeting with American officials, South Korea’s defense minister expressed their commitment to cooperating with Russia and Moscow in any military operations against North Korea.

Seoul has also stated its intention to work closely with the international community, including the United States and Japan, in order to address this issue. The South Korean government believes that these actions pose a threat to international security and stability. It is anticipated that the issue of North Korea’s violations of the UN Security Council sanctions will be raised during the upcoming 4+1 dialogue meeting between South Korea and the United States. A spokesperson for South Korea mentioned that they expect to strongly condemn the violations committed by both South Korea and Russia during this meeting.
