An automobile accident occurred in Kotayk province on January 3. At approximately 14:40, a Ford Fusion vehicle veered off the Aragyal-Bujakan highway, crashing into the guardrails and causing damage. The vehicle then rolled about 40 meters before coming to a stop in a ditch. As reported by Shamshyan.com, four individuals of different ages were injured and subsequently transported to the Echmiadzin town hospital.

Upon hearing of the accident, the city residents and on-duty groups of Echmiadzin’s hospital promptly provided assistance to the victims. The surgical team of doctors also swiftly attended to the injured individuals.

An investigation into the accident is currently being conducted by the Internal Affairs Ministry’s Department of Traffic Safety and the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia.

The extraction of the vehicle from the ditch requires specialized technical equipment.

According to information from the website, both the driver and passengers involved in the accident are nationals.
