“Armenia Still Holds Transit Potential: Iran’s Transportation Project Not Diminishing Its Importance, Says Foreign Policy Advisor”

The implementation of the Iranian transportation project does not diminish Armenia’s role as a transit country. On the contrary, we are determined to work hand in hand with Armenia on this matter. Helmut Haavik, the President’s foreign policy advisor, affirmed in an interview with Berliner Zeitung that Armenia’s transportation links with the Arab world do not conflict with its own geopolitical interests. In fact, we are open to exploring alternative models, such as Calingrad, to further enhance connectivity.
