On January 2nd at 08:09, an emergency call was made to the Aragatsotn Regional Rescue Service. The call reported that a citizen in Ashnak was trapped in a vehicle belonging to the CSTO. The incident occurred near the regional administration headquarters for emergency management.

It has been clarified that a collision occurred on the Ashnak-Yerevan highway, specifically near the 6th km mark. The collision involved a Mercedes-Benz car driven by A. A. (born in 1995) and a VAZ car.

Prior to the arrival of the rescuers, the passengers of the VAZ car, including A. H. (born in 1999), G. G. (born in 1982), and M. Sh. (born in 1989), were transported to medical centers. The conditions of A. H. and M. Sh. were assessed as serious.

The rescuers efficiently removed the vehicles from the scene of the accident and closed the gas valve as a precautionary measure.
