“Explosion in Nubarashen Village Injures Firefighters: Heroes Battle Flames and Injuries to Contain Blaze”

An explosion occurred in the village of Nubarashen, resulting in injuries to two firefighters, according to Shamshyan.com. The National Crisis Management Center of the Rescue Service of the Republic of Armenia received an alert about the explosion on January 1 at 20:00. After hours of battling the fire, the firefighters successfully contained and extinguished it by 23:50. Unfortunately, the explosion caused damage to nearly 2000 square meters of the area.

During the firefighting operations, the conditions became more difficult for some of the firefighters. While some received first aid at the scene, two rescuers had to be transported to the “Erebuni” Medical Center for further treatment. A total of 21 rescuers from the Emergency and Rescuers Unit were involved in the firefighting efforts, utilizing approximately 86 tons of water to combat the blaze.

This incident serves as a reminder of the bravery and sacrifices made by firefighters and first responders.
