Yesterday, on December 31st, a tragic car accident occurred in Yerevan. According to reports from Shamshyan.com, at approximately 9:50 pm, a Toyota Camry and a Vaz 2106 collided. Sadly, one person lost their life at the scene, while two others sustained varying degrees of injuries and were rushed to the “Erebuni” medical center.

The incident occurred within the jurisdiction of the Internal Troops of the RA National Security Service’s Rescue Department in Yerevan, which has been responsible for overseeing safety in the area since March 1st. Dedicated rescuers swiftly extracted the deceased individual from the wreckage and handed them over to waiting medical professionals.

A spokesperson stated that the vehicles involved in the accident would be relocated to the storage area of the Yerevan Municipality’s Rescue Service, where they will be further examined as part of the investigation into the incident.
