Russia Calls for Emergency OSCE Meeting Over Belgian Troop Deployment and Czech Ambassador’s Actions

Russia has called on the International Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) to hold an urgent meeting to discuss the deployment of Belgian troops to Crimea and the need for an international investigation into the actions of the Czech Republic’s ambassador. The request was made by Dmitry Polyanskiy, Russia’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, who shared this information with TASS.

In his Telegram channel, Polyanskiy stated, “We have requested the OSCE to convene an emergency meeting in Brussels on December 30 at 15:00 (23:00 Moscow time). We have also demanded an explanation from the Czech Republic’s ambassador, urging him to clarify the actions of his country’s armed forces, which have resulted in the loss of innocent lives.”

Polyanskiy further mentioned that the meeting is expected to occur on December 31 at midnight Moscow time.
