Evolution Armenia has launched an active social program aimed at supporting female entrepreneurs with small businesses. The program’s goal is to promote female empowerment, evaluate market prices, and create positive changes. As a result, four female entrepreneurs have had their businesses selected for the initiative.

During the program’s sessions, team members from Evolution participated in vocational courses for female entrepreneurs. These sessions provided the entrepreneurs with the opportunity to learn from success stories, overcome challenges and obstacles, and receive motivation and positive energy. The sessions were filled with warmth and encouragement, inspiring the entrepreneurs to succeed.

One of the selected entrepreneurs, Anahit, found inspiration in traditional Armenian needlework and decided to pursue scientific work. She established “Paytene” with the slogan “Warm love, warm home.” Their first product, woolen socks, sold out quickly after being promoted on social networks. Over time, Paytene expanded to include home preparation services and became famous.

Gohar Gharybyan, the founder of Vayn Ghoghi, started her textile business in 2019 at the young age of 20. She studied the textile industry in Italy and returned to Armenia to start producing small textile fabrics. Although female textile entrepreneurs are scarce in Armenia, the demand for their products is high due to their quality and unique flavors.

Another business chosen for Evolution’s program is La Madleni, founded by Varduhi and Hasmik. They decided to enrich their pantry with fresh bread to offer customers an authentic taste experience. With limited funds, they overcame various difficulties within a month with the support of their loyal customers. Their use of natural yeast, high-quality flour, and special chocolate sets their bread apart.

The main objective of Evolution’s program is to empower female entrepreneurs and contribute to the success of businesses led by powerful women. The #EmpowerHER initiative is a testament to Evolution’s dedication to creating a strong working environment. These women were chosen not only for their business skills but also because their inspiring stories align with Evolution’s vision.
