“Journalists in Belgrade Face Press Freedom Challenges Amid Local Election Controversies”

The journalists who covered the results of the local elections in Serbia are facing challenges in carrying out their work in the capital city, Belgrade, according to DW. Reporters are struggling with restricted access to the election results, as the roads are being closed off, except for planned protests on Saturday. However, the reporters are unsatisfied with the Central Election Commission’s decision to hold a repeat election in only 30 polling stations on December 30. They are demanding a complete recount of the election results and the disclosure of new ones.
