The Government of the Republic of Armenia, in their decision N 2291-L of December 21, 2023, has recently released the list of educational institutions eligible for payment of teaching salaries until September 19, 2023, as reported by NEWS.am and sourced from the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports.

The approved payment conditions for teaching salaries in the 2023-24 academic year are as follows:

1. For the first semester, teachers will receive 100 percent of the previous academic year’s average rating score, excluding the highest and lowest scores.
2. For the second semester, teachers will receive 100 percent of the previous academic year’s rating score, except for MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses), where scores above 65.00 percent in the first semester will result in a 50 percent reduction of the teaching salary for the first semester of the 2023-24 academic year. This reduction applies to teachers in primary (artistic) and intermediate technical education institutions, given that their scores are not less than “excellent” or “good” in terms of ratings.
