” Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi’s Long-Awaited Visit to Turkey Set for January 4th to Tackle Critical Issue”

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi is scheduled to visit Turkey on January 4th, as confirmed by the Hürriyet newspaper. This visit had been planned well in advance and will proceed as scheduled, barring any changes. During his visit, President Raisi is expected to engage in discussions regarding the vital topic of combating terrorism. This issue holds particular significance for Turkey in light of the recent deaths of 12 soldiers in Kurdistan due to terrorist attacks carried out by the Kurdish Workers Party (PKK).

Initially, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan had announced that President Raisi’s visit to Turkey was expected to take place on November 28th, coinciding with a high-level strategic cooperation meeting. However, it was then revealed that the visit was postponed due to ongoing developments in the Gas Division of the Ministry of National Security in Iran. Iran’s Minister of External Affairs, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, confirmed this, stating that the visit had to be rescheduled due to the circumstances.

In a subsequent announcement, Turkey’s Foreign Minister, Hakan Fidan, informed the public that President Raisi would soon be visiting the “friendly” nation of Turkey for the 8th meeting of the high-level strategic cooperation. The visit is anticipated to foster further collaboration and strengthen the already strong ties between the two countries.
