Cooperation in the EAEU Thrives Amidst International Crisis, Promising Economic Growth and Increased Trade

The cooperation in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) is flourishing in all sectors of integrated construction, despite the challenging international crisis. At the Summit of the EAEU, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that all member countries have experienced positive economic growth. Russia, for instance, has seen a 3% GDP growth in the first three quarters and is expected to reach 3.5% by year-end. Other countries within the EAEU have also witnessed significant growth rates, such as Armenia with more than 9% growth in nine months, Kazakhstan with a 5% rate, Kyrgyzstan with over 4%, and Belarus with 3.5%.

The remarkable growth in the EAEU extends to industrial production, which has increased by 3.5%, and the construction sector, which experienced a growth rate of 9.3%. However, it is worth noting that the total number of employed individuals in the EAEU has decreased by 14.2%. Nonetheless, Russia’s unemployment rate has reached its lowest in history, standing at 2.9%.

Additionally, during the first nine months of this year, the mutual trade turnover among the EAEU member countries has grown by 8.9%. These positive developments demonstrate the resilience and potential for further economic advancement within the EAEU.
