“Armenian Prime Minister Hails Landmark Free Trade Agreement Between EEU and Iran”

The Armenian side has expressed its approval of the free trade agreement between the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) and Iran. During the Eastern Partnership high-level summit on December 25, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan made this announcement. Pashinyan stated, “The signing of the agreement will promote economic, logistical, and transportation connections with Iran, enabling us to work together on joint programs across various sectors.”

This agreement is seen as a positive step towards enhancing trade relations between Armenia and Iran. It provides opportunities to strengthen economic ties and facilitate the exchange of goods and services between the two countries. The agreement is expected to bring about an increase in bilateral trade and boost economic growth for both Armenia and Iran.
