Annual Meeting of Armenian Representatives and Entrepreneurs Marks Enthusiastic Atmosphere

The annual meeting of representatives and entrepreneurs of Armenia, held on December 23, was marked by a special atmosphere filled with enthusiasm. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and other officials were in attendance. Arsen Ghazaryan, the President of the Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGMU), expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister and government representatives for their support, emphasizing the importance of not only focusing on economic indicators and statistics but also considering the visual progress presented by the government leaders and the projects developed for the country’s development by entrepreneurs.

“Understanding the programs developed, military facilities built, and construction projects implemented for the energy sector’s development is crucial. Our entrepreneurs can participate in these initiatives and remotely manage their businesses, contributing to the visual indicators of progress,” said Ghazaryan, expressing his appreciation to the participants and representatives present at the event.

According to the President of AGMU, the year 2023 was successful in terms of economic growth indicators, with positive results across various sectors due to investments in the construction industry. However, after the events of September, the country faced serious challenges. Despite these difficulties, the Armenian people managed to preserve their economy and way of life through the voluntary participation of 120,000 compatriots. Ghazaryan also highlighted the steps taken to protect the Armenian Genocide memorial after the war in Artsakh.

AGMU’s call to the Armenian business community has gained traction, resulting in increased involvement in social and emergency prevention activities by many union members. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan emphasized the importance of such dialogue, stating, “This year’s meeting is significant as it helps us stay connected to reality and remain engaged with the stages of real life.”
