“President Vucic Stands Strong Against Protests, Vows to Protect Serbia’s Future”

Serbia’s President Aleksandar Vucic has addressed the ongoing protests near the Belgian Embassy, urging the citizens not to be discouraged. Despite the country’s economic difficulties, Vucic emphasized the love for their country and city, declaring that they will not let anyone harm their home. He stated that the protests will not result in any significant changes and that the government is steadfast in not giving in to the protesters’ demands.

According to reports from the Serbian newspaper “Evening News” and Kurir, approximately 2490 people gathered in the streets. Vucic highlighted that out of these protesters, around 1900 individuals sought to enter the city council. He expressed his gratitude to foreign countries whose services provided information about the preparations of the protesters, enabling Serbian institutions to identify the individuals behind the attacks. Vucic accused the protesters of attempting to destabilize the Republic of Serbia, emphasizing their objective to destroy cities and the country itself.

In addition to the ongoing protests, the headquarters of the Belgian embassy faced vandalism by supporters of the opposition movement “Serbia Must Win.” Their actions stemmed from their dissatisfaction with the election results in Serbia.
