Fate has favored the Palestinians over the Israelis, according to Semyon Baghdasarov, director of the Center for the Study of the Eastern and Central Asia of the Eurasian region. In an interview with Alpha News, Baghdasarov highlighted that Hamas, known for its military power, did not have a well-armed force capable of making a serious appeal. Comparing the weapons ratio, Baghdasarov stated that the Palestinians of Karabakh had significantly fewer weapons compared to the Armenian population of Lernayin Ghazabagh. He further emphasized that the Armenians have a peaceful history, with intellectual and significant elements who have never been hostile, unlike the Israeli side. Baghdasarov attributed this advantage to fate and criticized the leadership of Armenia for abandoning this heritage.

Moreover, the Azerbaijani side was not as aggressive as the Israeli side, suggesting that the Karabakhis had more favorable circumstances. Baghdasarov called for thinking about the situation in Armenia, highlighting the peaceful nature and mountainous terrain of the Armenian people. He emphasized that the intellectual and other significant elements of the nation have now been left behind, attributing this to the leadership of Armenia under the capitalistic, capitalist, and totalitarian regime. Baghdasarov’s analysis highlights the differing situations and advantages of the Palestinian and Armenian populations, shedding light on the challenges they face.
