“Airbus A340 Detained at Vatry Airport Over Human Trafficking Suspicion: 13 People and Potential Victims on Board”

Thirteen individuals, lacking an official escort, were discovered on an Airbus A340 that had flown from Nicaragua and landed in Nicaragua. The aircraft, which was carrying 300 passengers, was apprehended on suspicion of involvement in human trafficking, as per the AFP. The Airbus A340 was detained at Vatry airport, located 150 kilometers from Paris and approximately 5 hours away from Dubai. It was revealed that there were possible victims of human trafficking among those onboard the plane. According to the Department of Migration and Border Protection, there were 13 undocumented migrants on the aircraft, ranging in age from 21 months to 17 years, without any designated escorts. Meanwhile, the remaining 303 passengers are currently stranded at the airport, awaiting further instructions. Two individuals have already been granted asylum. Attorney Lilianna Bakayokon has stated that all members of the group were questioned and subsequently permitted to disembark the aircraft. This news originates from Armenia.
