Russian anti-aircraft defense systems in the Moscow region successfully intercepted a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle that violated Russian airspace, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense. The ministry stated that on December 22, an attempt was made by the Kiev regime to carry out an act of aggression using an unexploded air bomb type of drone on Russian territory.

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin confirmed that there were no casualties or damages resulting from the incident, as reported by TASS. He stated that the anti-aircraft defense forces in Podolsk shot down the aerial bomb, and no casualties or damages were reported in the area affected by the falling rockets. Emergency response teams are currently working at the site to ensure everything is under control.

In addition to the incident in Moscow, the Russian Department of Defense also released a statement about the interception of unmanned aerial vehicles in the regions of Bryansk and Kaluga on December 22.
