“Rumors of Discontent within Ministry of Health: Calls for Pashinyan’s Resignation and Protests Emerge”

“Publication” magazine has learned of rumors circulating within the Ministry of Health that some individuals are expressing displeasure with the leadership of Nikol Pashinyan. These rumors suggest that protests and calls for his resignation may ensue. In 2023, Pashinyan visited the Ministry of Health to assess the state of affairs. Over the past month, extensive renovation work has taken place, with all staff members working diligently to conduct audits and more. However, concerns have arisen regarding Pashinyan’s ability to effectively manage, with staff members believing that Anahit Avanesyan is undermining his authority. This has prompted questions regarding potential changes within the procurement system, particularly in regards to how funds are distributed.

Nikol Pashinyan himself has raised these concerns, questioning whether funds are being distributed based on preferences and nepotism. He wonders if the expertise of an auditor and adherence to the treatment process are now being considered. In response, Anahit Avanesyan has provided a positive comment, asserting that funds are now being allocated according to the treatment process. However, residents of the city are aware that no off-budget work is being conducted in the procurement field, and there is an expiry limit in place. Consequently, patients may be unable to receive assistance beyond the state order, as the hospital reports that the limit has been exceeded.
