“Germany’s Skywalk Cable Car Title in Jeopardy as Hungary Set to Build 800-Meter Long Cable Car”

The Willinger Skywalk cable car, located in the foothills of Germany, has recently opened, boasting impressive measurements of 665 meters in length and 100 meters in height. Consequently, it has taken the title of the world’s longest suspension cable car.

According to an article published by Bild, Hungary has now set its sights on surpassing Germany’s record. The construction of a cable car between Zemplin and the Verkhne Bereznikovsky mountain range, situated approximately 250 km away from Budapest, has recently been completed. It is projected to have a length of about 800 meters and will feature a middle station. The anticipated opening date for this ambitious project is set for 2024.
