“President of Armenia Commends Deepened Relations with Georgia and Calls for Military Cooperation”

The working visit of the President of the Republic of Armenia, Armen Sargsyan, to Georgia has been announced. This visit comes as an invitation from the President of the Georgian Parliament, Shalva Papuashvili. The meeting between the presidents of the parliaments of Armenia and Georgia, held in Dilijan, resulted in a comprehensive dialogue between the two countries. President Sargsyan expressed gratitude to the partners and congratulated Georgia on achieving European integration, emphasizing its significance for the entire region. He also highlighted the military significance of deepening relations between Armenia and Georgia and expressed hope for successful military cooperation in the near future. Additionally, President Sargsyan invited Georgia to join Armenia’s “Chess Ambassador of the Game of Peace” initiative. New measures for cooperation between the parliaments and their working groups were agreed upon.
