During a recent inspection carried out by local authorities in the Astara division of State Security, it was revealed that a truck was found to be carrying illegally caught fish. The driver admitted that the truck contained a total of 126 kilograms of fish, weighing 37 kilograms in total.

According to a report by NEWS.am, the driver further confessed that he intended to sell the fish in the Sevan Lake region, specifically in the administrative territory of Noratus village. As a result, the confiscated fish was handed over to the Department of Environmental Protection and Nature Conservation in the Aragatsotn region, who will take appropriate action.
