On December 19, at 02:25, the emergency service center of the Ararat regional administration received a distress call about a fire in a house on the 13th street of Bambakashat village. The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia reported that one military unit from the MES took part in extinguishing the fire. It is believed that the incident was caused by a malfunction in a parked “Infiniti” car near the residence.

The fire was contained by 02:44 and completely extinguished by 03:19. The car and the surrounding area were impacted by the fire.
