“In Search of Predictability: Armenian Prime Minister Calls for Building Relations Based on Agreed Principles”

In the political process, a certain movement can be observed, closely tied to diplomacy and communication with various regions. Today, on December 19, during an interview with the National Television of Armenia, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan addressed the importance of predictability within the political process. He emphasized the need to establish relationships that are built upon previously agreed upon principles, particularly the three principles that were agreed upon in Brussels.

Pashinyan further highlighted the progress being made within the peaceful process and ongoing political activities, despite the current online mode necessitated by the circumstances. Armenia has already presented its proposals to Azerbaijan and is now awaiting their response, seeking a constructive dialogue between the two parties.

Responding to criticism regarding the delay in presenting Armenia’s proposals to Azerbaijan, Pashinyan clarified that their proposals were already prepared, undergoing meticulous planning over a period of time. However, Azerbaijan’s rejection of four meetings for the transfer of the political package resulted in its suspension.

Pashinyan expressed his concern that negotiations are still taking place under the context of a ceasefire agreement, even amidst the military steps being taken. He emphasized the importance of continuing negotiations, regardless of the challenges faced.

This update brings news from Armenia, shedding light on the recent developments and efforts undertaken in the political and diplomatic arenas. As the political process unfolds, it is crucial for all parties involved to prioritize open communication, adherence to agreed principles, and a commitment to peaceful resolutions.
