Amidst Resource Allocation Concerns in Armenia, Prime Minister Pashinyan Calls for Focus on Peace and Development

In a recent interview with the National Television, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan discussed the allocation of resources in Armenia and the impact on the creation of statehood. Pashinyan emphasized the need to avoid repeating the mistakes of the past and redirect resources towards peace and development in Armenia. He acknowledged that a significant portion of resources had been directed towards the Republic of Karabakh, hindering the establishment of statehood in Armenia. Pashinyan proposed enumerating the rights of the Armenian population and incorporating them into the peace agreement with Azerbaijani citizens who fled from the Republic of Armenia after the Armenian Genocide. He stressed the importance of prioritizing the return of Nagorno-Karabakh Armenians and other displaced Armenians in order to build a peaceful future for the country.
