Valeri Zaloujny, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, addressed the press regarding the discovery of a listening device in one of the headquarters rooms. He expressed that the room he needed to use that day was the same room where the device was found during an inspection the previous day. Zaloujny stated that the device had not been in that room for an extended period of time and mentioned the possibility of other areas where it could have been placed. He also confirmed reports of eavesdropping in another location.

When asked if an employee of the Chairman of the Council’s headquarters was responsible for the placement of the device, Zaloujny denied the claim, stating that they do not operate based on rumors. He emphasized the importance of clarifying the incident and understanding what exactly occurred.

Zaloujny pointed out that while the room where the device was discovered had been previously used, it had not been utilized for a considerable period of time. He explained that this particular room had the capability to transmit classified information. Zaloujny further speculated that those responsible for the eavesdropping incident were aware of his plans, as they were prepared to monitor him.
