“Prime Minister’s wife, Anna Hakobyan, visits School of Children’s Art in Shirak province: Exhibition and performance enchant guests”

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Anna Hakobyan, recently visited the Shirak province where she paid a visit to the “School of Children’s Art of Armenia” alongside teachers. During her visit, the Prime Minister’s wife had the opportunity to meet with several key figures including the chairperson of the Shirak provincial administration, the head of education, culture and sports department Hayk Karapetyan, adviser Lilit Muradyan, assistant Anzhela Matosyan, representatives from the education department, and the school director Jemma Manukyan.

One of the highlights of the Prime Minister’s wife’s visit was attending an exhibition showcasing the works of students from the painting and applied arts departments. This was followed by a thematic artistic performance named “Children Paint Happiness”. The audience was warmly welcomed by adviser Anzhela Matosyan who delivered a greeting speech on behalf of the Shirak province.

The guests were then given the opportunity to explore the music section of the school, where they were treated to vocal-instrumental performances and solo acts. Additionally, the school director, Jemma Manukyan, shared insight into the future programs and initiatives of the School of Children’s Art of Armenia.

Established in 1964, the School of Children’s Art of Armenia is a renowned institution that has been recently renovated and now operates in a modern building. The facility is equipped with all the necessary furniture and artistic tools to provide a conducive environment for learning and creativity. Currently, the school caters to approximately 130 students and offers 5 music groups and 3 art groups.
