“Armenian Diaspora Chief and Ambassador to Ukraine Discuss Collaboration with Armenian Community in Ukraine”

Zareh Sinanyan, the chief commissioner for the Armenian Diaspora, recently held a meeting with the Armenian community in Ukraine on December 14. This gathering was attended by Vadim Karapetyan, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Ukraine, alongside other participants.

During the meeting, the attendees engaged in discussions regarding the challenges and issues faced by the Armenian community in Ukraine. They also explored potential solutions and opportunities to address these concerns. In particular, emphasis was placed on the active involvement of the youth in decision-making processes, recognizing their crucial role in effecting positive changes.

Furthermore, this meeting marked the inception of a collaboration between the government of Armenia and the Diaspora in Ukraine, with the aim of promoting integration and exchange. One of the topics addressed was the possibility of establishing a platform for Armenian youth to actively participate in the government of Armenia.

Concluding the event, the representatives of the “Varduhi” Armenian cultural center treated the guests to a captivating traditional music performance, adding a delightful element to the gathering.
