On December 16th, the Armenian Apostolic Church commemorates the day of Holy Jacob Mtsbin, the patriarch. In celebration of this occasion, the relic of the Mother Cathedral of Holy Etchmiadzin will be taken to St. Jacob’s Church in Kanaker, Araratian Patriarchal Diocese, under the auspices of His Holiness Garegin II, the Catholicos of All Armenians.

The festive Divine Liturgy will commence at 10:30 am, led by Very Rev. Fr. Narasard Kchoyan, the Primate of the Araratian Diocese. His Holiness Bishop Adam Bakhanamakaryan will preside over the liturgy, adding to the solemnity of the event.

Following the Divine Liturgy, a procession will be held in honor of St. Jacob, further highlighting the significance of this day.
