On December 15th, the people of Yerevan will be startled by the sound of firecrackers. However, this festive tradition took a dark turn when a report was received at 21:50 from the New Nork division of the National Center for Oncology in the Republic of Armenia. It stated that three individuals sought medical assistance for burns, facial injuries, and head injuries caused by fireworks. Shamshyan.com has reported that the hospital doctors treating the patients have informed the authorities that they are still in the investigation phase and cannot provide any definitive outcomes at this time. Remarkably, the doctors managed to save the lives of three Yerevan residents: 37-year-old Serob G., 63-year-old Samvel G., and 38-year-old Hovhannes G. The incident took place in one of the apartments on Vilnyus Street, as confirmed by both authorities and experts who thoroughly examined the area. This serious incident has prompted a criminal investigation, and authorities will be working closely with the investigative department to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the incident, identify the causes and conditions, and determine the responsibility of those involved.
