Breaking: Environmental Department Discovers Drug-related Violations during Air Pollution Investigation

On December 8, the environmental department of the city of Vagharshapat conducted thermal imaging surveys to gather data on air pollution resulting from furnace smoke. According to NEWS.am, they discovered a violation by the department of environmental protection in Vagharshapat. They were found using a wooden stove on the central street of Tair village. Further investigations led to the seizure of more than 1 gram of methamphetamine and a container containing marijuana and a lighter with the suspect. The man claimed to have brought the stove via telegram.

On December 10, the employees of the environmental department reported an individual who had been storing coal waste in their furnace violating environmental regulations. The department took action by visiting the specified address and conducting thermal imaging surveys. During the inspection, they discovered an additional 45 packages, each containing 5 grams of marijuana, in addition to the previously found 41 packages. The collected evidence was then forwarded to the investigative department of Vagharshapat, and the results of the investigation will be announced soon.
