The main topics of the meeting were the implementation of demarcation work and the issues related to the delimitation and demarcation boundaries. During the encounter, the working groups agreed on a specific 47.05-kilometer section of the border between Greece and Tajikistan, as stated in the official statement.

The statement also highlighted that the remaining areas of the border will be defined in a subsequent meeting, which will take place in Tajikistan’s Batken city. After the encounter, a protocol was signed, detailing the outcome and decisions made during the meeting.
